Current Surveys (and Survey Results)
|
 |
| |
We urge you to help
make this site (and therefore The Gay Publishing Company itself) something you want to be a part of. And, the easiest way for us to discover who you are and what you want is to ask. Please check back frequently and give us as much feedback and constructive criticism as you can through our selection of surveys. Remember, you can also contact us with comments and ideas at any time by using any of the methods on our Contact page.

First Impressions!
|
 |
| |
This survey is intended to gather
feedback on your initial experience with The Gay Publishing Company and this new Web site. So, after you've explored the site a bit, come back and share your first impressions with us. Topics in this survey include
- the general mission of the company,
- the appearance and general usability of the site, and
- future promotions you'd like to see.
If you rush through, you can likely finish this survey in a minute, but if you have the time, please provide additional information that will help us grow intelligently. You may take this survey as often as you like.

Demographics
|
 |
| |
We will no doubt tackle this subject
in more depth at a later time, but for now, this rather simple survey on demographics will help us aim a little more precisely. We'll also use it to approach and negotiate with advertisers. Questions ask about
- reader/writer affiliations,
- sexual orientation and attitude,
- your age,
- where your home is, and
- disposable income.
You can probably complete this one in a minute or two! Please don't take this survey too often, but check back occasionally to see if we've changed or added questions.

The Subscription Process
|
 |
| |
Have you already subscribed
to our magazine? If so, you can respond to these easy questions about the initial subscription process to help us refine it. Questions ask
- if you had any problems with the PayPal process and
- what recommendations or suggestions you have for improvement.
Three easy questions might take you all of thirty seconds—even if you elaborate! You may take this survey as often as you like.

Attracting New Subscribers
|
 |
| |
This will be an ongoing issue for a while,
at least until we get more established. The questions on this one-page survey about how to attract new subscribers will, hopefully, help us get to that point a little more quickly. Questions ask about
- incentives for attracting new subscribers,
- your involvement in attracting new subscribers, and
- possible activities for attracting new subscribers.
If you take the time to offer some original suggestions, this survey should only take a minute or two. You may take this survey as often as you like.

| |
Subscription and "Membership"
|
 |
| |
As we work to find appropriate
mixes of what we can charge and what we can provide versus what our writers and readers want, we'll be asking about your subscription-related expectations. Questions in this survey ask about
- if you have already subscribed to the magazine, and
- if not, why not;
- existing fees; and
- "membership" options you might like to see.
You can probably complete this survey in a minute, but we do encourage you to provide as many possibilities as you would really use. You may take this survey as often as you like.

Reading
|
 |
| |
The purpose of this survey
is to get an idea of what you like to read, how often, and where you think we might advertise. Questions in this survey ask
- what types of materials you like to read,
- online sites that you frequent, and
- what sites you think would be good places for us to advertise.
This is one survey that we hope you'll take some time with. Open it up, make some entries, then minimize the page for a whileadding information as you work through part of your day. You may take this survey as often as you like—especially if you think of a new possibility.
